Dae Young Lee is a practicing licensed customs consultant and international trade advisor in Seoul, having completed an extraordinary and distinguished career with the Korean Customs Service. He is a graduate of the College of Law of Seoul National University and has variously served at all levels of the Korean Customs Service, including service as: Director of the Import & Export Division, Director of the Valuation Division, Director General of Valuation and International Affairs at KCS Headquarters, Customs Attache to the Korean Embassy in Washington, D.C., Customs Attache to the Korean Consulate General in Hong Kong, Director General of Taegu Customs, Director General of Kimpo Airport Customs and, as Deputy Commissioner of the Korean Customs Service. Mr. Lee was awarded the Order of Meritorious Service of the Republic of Korea and has served as a private sector advisor with leading tax accounting and legal firms in Seoul. His opinions are highly respected at all levels of the Korean Customs Service as a result of his work as the top professional expert on customs tariff classification, valuation and international customs rulings of the Korea Customs Service.
