Dr. Wenpo Lee of Shanghai has an extraordinary and exceptional background with leading developments in industry and commerce in China and Germany. Dr. Wenpo Lee headed Research of advanced generation automotive engines for Volkswagenwerk AG headquarters in Germany. He also twice served as the Chief Representative of Volkswagen in Beijing after heading up VW’s “China Project” from its inception. This resulted in VW becoming the leading foreign auto maker in China. Dr. Wenpo Lee has also served as the General Manager and Managing Director of the Swatch Group of Switzerland for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan which became the leading importer and distributor in China of such well-known brand names as Omega, Rado, Longines, Tissot and Swatch under Dr. Wenpo Lee’s able and energetic leadership. He is by training an accomplished engineer and master of numerous technologies with undergraduate and advanced graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from both Taiwan and Germany and, he achieved the rare recognition of a Doctor-Ingenieur awarded by the Aachen University of Technology in Aachen, Germany. Dr. Wenpo Lee has also served as a Member of the Board of the Chinese Center in Hannover, Germany and is currently a Senior Advisor to well-known and highly respected European and other multinational firms.
